The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Nasarawa State University Keffi
(NSUK) reportedly gave a 2-week ultimatum to the varsity management to
implement the agreement they entered, or the staff will go on strike.
Chairman of the union, Dr Theopholius Daniel Lagi, made this known in an interview with DailyTrust recently.
According to Lagi, the strike action will commence
February 14 if the university authorities and the Nasarawa state
government continue to ignore the union's demands.
The demands included issues on promotions, faulty university laws, appointments as well as indiscipline.
