EFCC seizes houses of Goodluck Jonathan campaign director

During her interrogation, she reportedly gave a breakdown of how the funds allocated to her were disbursed.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has seized two properties belonging to the former minister of state for Finance, Mrs Nenadi  Usman.

She was arrested for allegedly receiving N2.5b from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to fund the 2015 presidential campaign of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Usman also doubled as the Director of Finance of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation.
An EFCC source told Punch that “She has been cooperating with us as she has returned N23m and we have also seized two houses belonging to her in Abuja.”
During her interrogation, she reportedly gave a breakdown of how the funds allocated to her were disbursed.
Reports say all the funds meant for the 2015 presidential campaign of former President Jonathan went through her.
Usman has however returned the sum of N23m to the EFCC.
The former minister reportedly confessed to EFCC investigators that she acted on the instructions of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
