photos: Police kill two suicide bombers, arrest one in Maiduguri, Borno state

Two female and one male suicide bombers who had IEDs strapped on them, had attempted to attack a checkpoint close to the Federal High Court Complex in Maiduguri when they were sighted and stopped by vigilant police officers. One of the female suicide bombers detonated the IED on her killing her and the male suicide bomber. Ondo state governor's Chief Security Officer killed by suspected armed robbers

The Chief Security Officer of Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, Idowu Oyewole was shot dead by three gunmen at his home at Owo/Akure Express road yesterday October 20th. According to reports, Oyewole had retired home after the days work and was having dinner with his Family when the gunmen believed to be armed robbers attacked the home of his neighbor.

Gunmen kill police officer in Zamfara

Unknown gunmen suspected to be assassins yesterday at about 2am, stormed the residence of an Assistant Supritendent of Police, ASP Gambo Adamu at Sha'iskawa quarters in Gusau the capital of Zamfara state and shot him dead.
