Ondo state governor's Chief Security Officer killed by suspected armed robbers
The Chief Security Officer of Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko,
Idowu Oyewole was shot dead by three gunmen at his home at Owo/Akure
Express road yesterday October 20th. According to reports, Oyewole had
retired home after the days work and was having dinner with his Family
when the gunmen believed to be armed robbers attacked the home of his
neighbor.
DSS arrest: NBA seeks suspension of affected judges

Donald Trump says he won't commit to accepting election results
Republican Party U.S presidential candidate Donald Trump on Wednesday,
during the third and final presidential debate in Las Vegas said he
won't commit to accepting the November 8 U.S presidential election
results. Trump in the last one week has claimed that the election
process was being rigged against him as even dead people's names had
been brought up in the voter's register.

Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosu yesterday lashed out at aggrieved
workers of the state civil service who have threatened to go on strike
over unpaid allowances and wages. At a town hall meeting organised by

Gunmen kill police officer in Zamfara
Unknown gunmen suspected to be assassins yesterday at about 2am, stormed
the residence of an Assistant Supritendent of Police, ASP Gambo Adamu
at Sha'iskawa quarters in Gusau the capital of Zamfara state and shot
him dead. The gunmen believed to be assassins, shot the deceased at
close range, causing him to die instantly.

154 Nigerians deported from Libya
The Nigerian Immigration Service on Monday, October 10, revealed that
154 Nigerians were deported from Libya by the countries authority.
According to reports, the return of the deportees was processed by the
assistance of the International Office for Migration (IOM), which has
been instrumental for the voluntary return of many Nigerians trapped in
Libya crises.

corruption, is likely to appeal against his conviction on the
grounds that British police and lawyers involved in his case were
themselves corrupt, a London court heard on Friday, October 7th.
