Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, has approved the
appointment of Professor Fidelis O. Njokanma as the acting Vice
Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU).Prof. Njokanma was until his
appointment the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), a position he
held since May 2014.
The appointment came after a meeting of the Governing Council of
the university held on Thursday evening.According to information
obtained from LASU’s Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations
(CIPPR), Njokanma will pilot the affairs of the institution “pending the
appointment of a substantive Vice Chancellor.”
The Governor of Lagos State His Excellency Governor Akinwunmi Ambode
has appointed an acting Vice Chancellor Professor. Fidelis Olisamedua
Njokanma, who was before now the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the
University (Administration)
